Who I am

Quotation and price

The amounts on this site are exclusive of VAT. Amounts with "from" are starting prices; a fixed amount is a fixed amount. What a project costs is stated in the quotation you get up front. That price is fixed: I do not add hours afterwards for work that is in the quotation.

A quotation is valid for thirty days. You agree by email; a signature is not needed.

What I need from you

I need text, images and access in order to build. If those do not arrive, the project is delayed. If you stop supplying anything and I hear nothing for three months, I may close the project and invoice what has been built up to that point.

You warrant that you are allowed to use the text and images you supply.

Delivery and feedback

Every project includes one round of feedback, unless the quotation specifies more. You get a link where you can review everything. If you do not respond within fourteen days, the work counts as approved.

Changes outside the quotation are extra work. I say so beforehand, with what it costs, and only start once you agree.

Payment

For projects above one thousand euros you pay half up front and the rest on delivery. Below that I invoice on delivery. The payment term is fourteen days.

Monthly services are invoiced monthly in advance. You can cancel monthly, with one month notice. If you do not pay, I may pause the service after sending you a reminder.

Ownership

Once you have paid the invoice, the delivered work is yours and you may do with it what you want. Domain name, hosting and accounts are in your name, not mine. You are not tied to me in order to continue.

I may show the work in my portfolio, unless you say you would rather I did not. Parts I built earlier myself and use for more than one client stay mine; on those you get a perpetual and transferable right of use within the delivered work.

Services of others

For hosting, domain names, payment services and language models I depend on other parties. Their own terms and rates apply. If something goes wrong there or they change their price, that is not something I can vouch for. I will help you solve it.

Faults and warranty

If something does not work as agreed, I repair it free of charge up to thirty days after delivery. After that I still fix it, but at my normal rate.

If someone else changes the work, that warranty lapses for the changed part.

Liability

If something goes wrong that I am responsible for, I compensate at most the amount you paid for that project. I am not liable for consequential loss, such as missed revenue. This limit does not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness.

Confidentiality

What I see of your figures, customer details and way of working stays with me, even after the project has ended.

Ending a project

Either of us can stop a project if the other does not keep to the agreements and does not put that right after a written warning. If you stop a running project without cause, I invoice the work finished at that moment.

Law and disputes

Dutch law applies to these terms. If we cannot work it out together, we put it to the competent court in the Netherlands. I would rather call first.
